“Definitely Taiwanese-style food with so many delicious dishes that bring back home memories. The dumplings have just the right balance of meat and chives, especially with vinegar and hot sauce. The beef noodle soup is the best in the area, and the taro fried cake, meatball soup (like back home in Hsinchu), fried tofu, green bean smoothies, curry chicken rice, and small plates are all excellent. Generous portions, not oily, not too salty, and very affordable. A warm, family-run spot that makes you feel at home. Highly recommended!”

“Coco’s is a local favorite serving some of the most authentic and affordable Taiwanese food in Houston! Their menu is extensive—rice and noodle dishes, dumplings, tofu, milk tea, smoothies, and shaved ice. Most dishes are only \$7–\$11 with large portions. Favorites include the Taiwanese popcorn chicken with rice, beef noodle soup, shredded pork with pickled cabbage noodle soup, dried tofu, and milk tea with tapioca. A must-visit for comfort food at a great price.”

“Nice place with good flavors! The shaved ice was refreshing—could use a bit more ice or a bigger bowl, but the toppings were good. The chicken bites were tasty, and the service was friendly. Definitely worth a stop!”
